The “Harem” stud farm is located in Ticino (the Italian part of Switzerland), more precisely in Viglio, a little town of the “Collina d’ Oro” (“Golden hill”). Viglio is only 2 km (1.24 miles)from Lugano and about 70 km from Milan.
Since 1997 Arabian and anglo-arabian horses are not only bred in this centre, but also prepared for shows, broken in and trained. Moreover we practice physiotherapy for horses and recovering of subjects with physical or psychical problems. In addition to this the realization of a wellness center for horses is being planned.

The mares are most from Italy. In Switzerland there are more than 1500 PSA registered but most of them are in the northern regions.
Our aim is to introduce and promote also in Ticino good quality horses.

Allevamento

L’allevamento PSA “Harem” si trova nella Svizzera italiana e più precisamente a Viglio, piccola frazione del Comune Collina d’Oro.
Viglio dista circa 2 Km da Lugano e poco più di 70 Km da Milano.
Il centro si occupa dal 1997 dell’allevamento di purosangue arabi e anglo-arabi, della preparazione show, della doma e addestramento, di fisioterapia equina e del recupero di cavalli con problemi fisici e psicologici. Inoltre è in progetto la realizzazione di un centro benessere (wellness e SPA) proprio per cavalli.

Le fattrici provengono dall’Italia. In Svizzera ci sono più di 1500 PSA iscritti, ma soprattutto nelle regioni settentrionali.
Il nostro obbiettivo è di introdurre e diffondere anche nel Canton Ticino soggetti di ottima qualità.
